Hey, I’m Liz.
I've been designing things my whole life. Back when businesses were still debating whether they "needed" a Facebook page.
With a background in Account Management and over 15 years in Graphic Design, I understand both the creative side and the business side of digital marketing. I know how to make things look good, but more importantly, I know how to make things work.
Sass Social was born out of watching too many business owners struggle with their digital presence, either trying to DIY everything and burning out, or working with multiple different people who never quite understood their vision.
I wanted to offer something better. One person who could handle social media, design your website, create your brochures, write your emails, edit your videos, and actually understand your business goals along the way.
Turns out, businesses really wanted that too.
Personally, I'm a mum of two sassy girls and wife to my biggest supporter. I'm also a friend to many who've walked this entrepreneur road before me, and to those walking it now.
Going full time with SASS Social after two redundancies taught me how important it is to lift others up who are working through that same leap. If you're in it, or thinking about it, I get it more than most.
So that's me, on paper and in person. If any of this resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
Who I Am
-
15+ Years in Graphic Design: I've been designing since before Instagram existed. Full Adobe Creative Suite mastery, brand identity expertise, and a portfolio that ranges from business cards to 6-meter billboards.
6+ Years in Social Media Management: I started managing social media when businesses were still figuring out if they "needed" to be on Facebook. Now I run comprehensive campaigns across multiple platforms for businesses doing 7-8 figures.
Background in Account Management: I understand business. I know how to talk to clients, manage projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results. You're not just getting a creative - you're getting a strategic partner.
-
One Person, All the Skills
You're not dealing with a team of strangers or playing telephone between your designer, editor and social media manager. You get ME - and I do it all. Fewer miscommunications, faster turnaround, better results.
Agency Quality, Freelancer Flexibility
I deliver work that rivals big Auckland agencies - but with the flexibility and personal touch of working with one dedicated person. Need something changed? Call me. Want to brainstorm? I'm here. No account managers or junior staff - just direct access to the person doing the work.
I Actually Care About Your Results
Your success is my success. When you grow, I grow. I'm not here to tick boxes or post pretty pictures - I'm here to help your business win. That means strategy, honesty, and work that actually moves the needle.
-
Real Estate - Agencies, individual agents, property marketing.
Property Development - Full marketing campaigns, billboards, signage, social media, eDM’s - you name it.
Trade & Construction - branding, social media, marketing assets.
Hospitality & Retail - Social media, eDM campaigns, in-store marketing.

If you're a business that takes digital marketing seriously (but doesn't have the time or team to do it yourself), we're probably a great fit.
-
Named after my spirited daughters and a nod to my family name, Sass embodies both my creativity and my no-nonsense approach to marketing.
I bring the sass - you bring the business. Together, we make magic happen.

“I loved meeting with Liz Scott from Sass Social Marketing last week. She came in to help me navigate my way around Meta Business Suite.
Liz was engaging, listened carefully to the silly way I did things, then broke everything down and put me on a clearer path, and shared so many great tips. It’s obvious she loves what she does, and she made me feel that no question was a silly one. Liz has a huge amount of knowledge, and I really appreciated the practical advice she gave me.”
